Have you ever wanted a doll that doesn't exist?
I want a Fairyland Littlefee Luna - But not a Littlefee! I really want a 35cm doll, to look about 10, to add to my doll family. In my mind, she's got a style of dressing similar to the Ruby Gloom cartoon - sort of gothy-cute. LOL
There are a few dolls in this size out there, but none of them are quite exactly what I want.
The closest would be the Chibi Unoa Lilin faceplates on the Roron body (which is what I was saving up for when Littlefee Bonnie attacked...) But it's a lot of money, and then I have to find a faceup artist who will paint multiple faceplates as the same character, at the same time.
Aidolls Little Jr Darea has a great face for the character, but the girl body is decidedly not workable for a ten year old girl! And the boy's body is a little taller than I was thinking...
Minoruworld Jr Leila is the perfect size and utterly adorable... but somehow doesn't work for the character I want. Maybe if Shirley comes out in a basic set?
Narsha and friends are the right size, but won't suit the character at all.
If the Iplehouse KID line ever comes out, perhaps one of them would work? But I begin to suspect it's like Lati's "Orange Line..."
None of them have the same poseability I'm so fond of in my Fairyland dolls, either!
In the meantime, I just have to say...I want Littlefee Luna. But on a new, currently non-existent, Fairyland body that would make her about 33 - 35cm tall, and without the alarming blue eyeshadow. *grin*
...I wonder what a Littlefee head would look like on a Minoruworld Junior body?
what about a luna head on a narsha body? the color match is fairly good
