Not because anyone's rude, but because they stare and sometimes like to ask questions about what I'm doing. Since I hate being stared at, and don't enjoy interruptions while taking pictures, clearly this is not the activity for me! LOL
I do love outdoor pictures, though, so I mostly look for times and places when there aren't many people. Early mornings, and odd corners! It works pretty well.
A few times a year I go over to the community garden to take some doll pictures, which is gorgeous even in late Spring and early Fall. I used to go for 8am on a Saturday morning, and I'd be gone again by 9am, without seeing any more than perhaps someone out doing Tai Chi. It was awesome.
My Saturday mornings have been booked this year, however, so last time I went I tried Sunday. The earliest I can get there by bus is 9:30am. There is BIG difference in the number of people there! I won't be doing that again, as I was so rushed I didn't take the usual time to properly pose the dolls, and so I liked very few of the pictures.
This was about the best one I got that day. I will have to figure out a way to take another trip, but on the Saturday, before the Other Humans get there. It might not be till September, though...
A couple pictures from previous trips:
I know what you mean...I'm far too shy to take photos of my dolls in public. I need to get some practice in because I'll be going to Disney in September and Pastel will never forgive me if she doesn't get pictures.
ReplyDeleteEven if it was rushed, your one photo came out great!
Thanks for the kind words! :)
DeletePictures at Disney would be pretty awesome! There would be so much going on there, people probably wouldn't even notice you, which would be almost as good as having them all out of your way. ;)
