Daydreaming...

I have always thought it would be wonderful if Fairyland would offer more "expresson" faceplates for their dolls, rather like the adorable Mui Chan, instead of just awake and sleeping (and the occasional winking faceplate).  But maybe there wouldn't be enough demand?

I think she likes the tutu....

This is an old picture of Emily that was edited to give a faint smile.  I'd love to see happy and angry faceplates for her!  LOL

  1. Emily looks so cute smiling!!! I totally agree it would be awesome that dolls came with different expressions (even if it would get expensive to face-up every one of them), it would make them so much more versatile. I would love happy, sad and angry faceplates for my dolls ;)

    1. The faceups would definitely be the catch! And probably not worth it to everyone, though I would be first in line to get Emily more expressions! LOL

  2. I know what you mean! It's why I've kept my Elfdoll Tiny Hana, I love how she has several different looks, depending on her faceplate. It would be very easy with FL dolls as they have faceplates too!
I like your Emily smiling like that....I wish I could do things like that by editing!!!

    1. I was so tempted by the Elfdoll Tiny Hana at one point, just because of those lovely, expressive faceplates! :D Hana and Mui Chan prove that it can be done....

  3. Oh...I'm glad I read the post. At first I thought I was seeing things...I wondered how you got a picture that looked like she was smiling.:) I would love a smiling Ante faceplate too!

    1. They wouldn't even have to change the sculpt much to do it! For the editing, all I did was tug the corners of her mouth up very, very slightly. :D
