A Litte Exploring...

IMG_8454-3

Sometimes a doll just needs to go outside and have some adventures, which Saila did on the weekend.  She put on the Clam Digger digger outfit, as she needed the boots to go exploring around the stream.

This outfit for some reason doesn't come with a shirt under the sweater, so she's borrowed the one from her High Country Hiking outfit - it works really well.

The area I live in is very different from what Saila would be used to - for one thing, we have trees, trees, and more trees!

  1. Saila looks really great in a natural environment like this, and her outfit is great, love those boots!
I am sure she loved those trees though, especially if she's not used to so many of them where she originates!
Please keep the photos coming, I really do like this new girl of yours!
    Big hugs Sharon xx

    1. Thanks very much for the kind words! The boots are really cute, and the grey corduroy pants should go with just about anything, so I am happy. :)

I tend to go a bit overboard with pictures when there is a new arrival.... LOL

  3. I'm loving your Saila posts and your wonderful photos of this very special doll. My own Saila arrives tomorrow, and I'll be making clothes for her and blogging about them on Kit's Couture - so thank you for the link from your blog, I really appreciate it.

  4. Aha, I recognized one of your photos from Ravelry. I didn't realize you had two blogs. I don't link mine on Rav, just came across you.

I wish I liked photography more. I didn't realize you had so many of the Maplelea outfits for her. Anyway, this is great to see her in the woods, she looks so good in a natural setting.

    1. Yes, Ravelry won't let you link two blogs to your profile, and this one is pretty new.

I was so happy with Saila and her outfits, that I ordered a few more when I got paid for the few 60+ hours work weeks over the summer. I'm pretty happy with what she has now, and I'm really looking forward to making things for her once I get the finishing done on Nieceling's birthday presents. I just wish you could buy the journal pages separately, because I'd buy them all. LOL

Saila seems to look good in most any picture, but I enjoyed taking her out into nature! :)
